A partir de éste sábado se podrán realizar actividades deportivas manteniendo las medidas de seguridad pertinentes, como es la distancia social. Y una de nuestras actividades preferidas es pasear en bicicleta, un deporte sano y para todas las edades.
Benidorm es un lugar perfecto para moverse en bicicleta, ya que han sido facilitados por parte del Ayuntamiento multitud de carriles-bici a lo largo y ancho de la ciudad. En éste post os expondremos las mejores rutas que podéis seguir en Benidorm o en sus alrededores:
Serra Gelada
Una vez más, nombramos éste precioso Parque Natural unido a Benidorm. En él podréis realizar todas las rutas que ya citamos en otros posts, como son la 'Ruta hacia la Punta del Cavall' o la del 'Faro del Albir', pero claro está, en bicicleta. Un lugar perfecto para admirar la naturaleza y el precioso skyline de Benidorm. 101% recomendable.
Paseo de Poniente
Ésta zona, menos conocida y transitada que la de la Playa de Levante, es idónea para pasear en bici sin tanta aglomeración de gente. Comunica con la zona del puerto y el casco antiguo, dónde podrás realizar compras o ir de tapas. Pero a lo largo del paseo de Poniente, en cuál discurre un carril-bici pegado a la playa en la totalidad de su longitud. Podréis encontrar tanto parques con zonas de juegos para niñ@s y mesas de picnic; así como una mayor tranquilidad al ser menos comercial que su hermana la Playa de Levante.
Paseo de Levante
La mítica Playa de Levante, es la más popular, y por lo tanto la más animada, al estar dotada de numerosos negocios, pubs, restaurantes y turistas. El paseo es prácticamente peatonal y no hay carril delimitado, pero puedes circular sin problemas por él, ya que los vehículos no pueden circular por él.
También recomendamos que durante éste tramo vayáis más bien despacio, puesto que sea la época del año que sea, siempre suele haber gente. Eso sí, siempre muy respetuosa con las biciclistas (en otros países están más habituados al uso de la bicicleta y por lo tanto más concienciados).
Parque de l'Aigüera
El pulmón verde de Benidorm, situado en pleno centro de la ciudad. Es muy amplio y largo. Y en él puedes pasear, descansar en el césped, merendar en sus zonas de picnic, ir con los peques a sus parques infantiles y admirar el magnífico anfiteatro en el cuál se realizan eventos durante todo el año. En próximos posts hablaremos más detalladamente de éste Parque, puesto que es una zona verde digna de disfrutar.
Excursiones organizadas o a vuestro "aire"
Ni que decir tiene, que si no disponéis de bicicleta, en Benidorm podréis encontrar empresas dedicadas tanto al alquiler de éstas, como de la organización de rutas guiadas por la ciudad. Las hay de 'punta a punta de Benidorm', 'Serra Gelada', 'De Tapeo por el casco histórico', 'Ruta naturaleza' o 'Rutas a distintos lugares de Altea'.
Pero si os gusta ir a vuestro aire podéis combinar cómo queráis vuestras rutas, ya sea visitando los principales lugares e interés de Benidorm, lugares naturales, mercadillos, tiendas, rutas gastronómicas, rastros... las combinaciones son muy numerosas.
Sin más, os dejamos que os lo penséis, pero creemos que para el "desconfinamiento" que ya llega, las actividades en bicicleta, son una opción más que válida.

BENIDORM BIKE ROUTES (English translation)

Benidorm is a perfect place to move around by bicycle, since many city bike lanes have been provided by the City Council throughout the city. In this post we will expose you the best routes that you can follow in Benidorm or in its surroundings:
Serra Gelada
Once again, we name this beautiful Natural Park together with Benidorm. In it you can do all the routes that we already mentioned in other posts, such as the 'Route to Punta del Cavall' or the 'Albir Lighthouse', but of course, by bicycle. A perfect place to admire nature and the beautiful Benidorm skyline. 101% recommended.
Poniente Beach This area, less known and busy than theLevante Beach, is ideal for cycling without so many people. It communicates with the port area and the old town, where you can shop or go for "tapas". But along the Poniente promenade, which runs a bike lane attached to the beach in its entire length. You can find both parks with playgrounds for children and picnic tables; as well as greater tranquility as it is less commercial than its sister, Levante Beach.
Levante Beach
The mythical Levante Beach is the most popular zone, and therefore the most lively, as it is endowed with numerous businesses, pubs, restaurants and tourists. The walk is practically pedestrian and there is no delimited lane, but you can circulate without problems on it, since vehicles cannot circulate on it.
We also recommend that during this route you go rather slowly, since whatever the season, there are always people. Of course, always very respectful of bicyclists (in other countries they are more accustomed to using the bicycle and therefore more aware).
L'Aigüera Park
L'Aigüera Park is the "green lung" of Benidorm, located in the heart of the city. It is very wide and long. And in it you can walk, rest on the grass, have a snack in its picnic areas, go with the kids to its playgrounds and admire the magnificent amphitheater where events are held throughout the year. In future posts we will talk in more detail about this Park, since it is a green area worth enjoying. Guided routes or on your own Needless to say, if you do not have a bicycle, in Benidorm you can find companies dedicated to both renting these and organizing guided tours of the city.
There are 'from end to end of Benidorm', 'Serra Gelada', 'Tapeo through the old town', 'Naturals routes' or 'Routes to different places in Altea'. But if you like going your own way you can combine how you want your routes, whether it is visiting the main interest places in Benidorm, natural places, markets, shops, gastronomic routes, rastro... the combinations are very numerous.
